Attorney David Damore of Daytona Beach; ethical goblin

The state of Florida provided David Richard with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from Stetson University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Dave represented a criminal defendant on felony charges. In lieu of payment of legal fees, the client executed a quit claim deed in favor of Dave, from jail. Dave directed his nonlawyer employee to notarize the deed even though she didn’t see the client execute the document. It became an issue six months later, after Dave negotiated a favorable plea agreement for the client with the state attorney’s office.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 60-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2018), Dave practices Damore Delgado Romanik & Rawlins at 227 Seabreeze Blvd in Daytona Beach, Florida.
