Attorney Lazaro Mur of West Palm Beach, FL; check bouncer

The state of Florida provided Lazaro Jesus Mur with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the University of Miami Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Lazaro guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to comply with trust accounting rules and procedures
• Wrote check on insufficient funds account (rubber)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme Court punished Lazaro by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand. 

Because Florida Attorney Misfits are held to a lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Lazaro was never criminally prosecuted for writing bad checks.
