Attorney Thomas Martin of Kamuela, HI; ethical dwarf

The state of California provided Thomas Martin with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from Western State University Law School.

The California State Bar found Tommy guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Tommy failed to remove personal funds from his client trust account and wrote three checks from the account – to the Hawaii Medical Administration Association, the state tax collector and to his spouse – that covered personal expenses.

As consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Tommy by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year term of probation.
