Attorney Oscar Posterli of Waukegan, IL; deceiving liar

The state of Illinois presented Oscar Posterli with a law license in 1988.

The Disciplinary Commission found Oscar guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct tending to bring the courts/legal profession into disrepute (What’s new?)
• Prepared and distributed a resume containing material false statements and that he intended that prospective law firm employers would rely upon his misrepresentations (lies)
• Law school resume contained material false statements as to his grade-point average and false claims of having received certain undergraduate and law school scholastic honors

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Oscar by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (March 2017), Oscar practices with the Law Offices of Oscar Posterli at 216 West Madison Street in Waukegan, Illinois.
