Attorney Steven Ross of Chicago; ethical leprechaun  

The state of Illinois presented Steven Owen Ross with a law license in 1985 after he graduated from the Chicago-Kent College of Law.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Stevie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct tending to defeat the administration of justice
• Failed to safeguard client funds
• Permitted a person who recommends a lawyer to direct or regulate lawyer's professional judgment in rendering legal services
• Engaged in conduct tending to bring counts/legal profession into disrepute (What’s new?)
• Made payments to person referring clients
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Stevie by gifting him with a complimentary 3-month suspension of his law license.  

As we speak (March 2017), Stevie practices with Steven O. Ross PC at 1235 South Prairie Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.
