Attorney John Brooking of Ft. Wright, KY; scofflaw

The state of Ohio provided John Sampson Brooking with a law license in 1991 after he graduated from Northern Kentucky University School.

The Board of Commissioners on Grievances & Discipline found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Violated restriction of use of referral services to those that serve the public interest
• Improperly accepted referrals from unauthorized agents
• Aided nonlawyers in illegal practice of law
• Allowed nonlawyers to give legal advice to clients
• Illegally shared legal fees with nonlawyers
• Improperly formed partnership with nonlawyer
• Handled legal matter without adequate preparation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. July 2017), Johnny practices with Brookings & Halloran PLLC at 909 Wright’s Summit Parkway in Ft. Wright, Kentucky.
