Attorney Mark Fidler of Cincinnati; convicted shoplifter

The state of Ohio provided Mark Walter Fidler with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Cincinnati School.

The Cincinnati Bar Association found Mark guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Convicted of stealing four compact disks from Swallens’ Dept. Store
  • Engaged in a pattern of evasion of responsibility
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Convicted of stealing three compact disks from a MicroCenter computer store
  • Convicted of disorderly conduct
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
  • Engaged in illegal practice of law in jurisdiction he wasn’t licensed in

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Ohio Supreme Court punished Mark by gifting him with a complimentary 6-month suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. March 2017), Mark practices at 810 Sycamore in Cincinnati, Ohio.
