The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Barry guilty of the following misconduct.

Failed to make and retain required records concerning transactions involving funds received by him in relation to his practice of law

Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice

Failed to maintain required trust records for seven years

Failed to make contemporaneous and accurate entries of all financial transactions in his records of receipts and disbursements

Disregarded a ruling of a tribunal during course of a proceeding

Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation

Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Departmental Disciplinary Committee punished Barry by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.
