Attorney Eloise Nurse of New York City; lying convict

The state of New York presented Eloise M. Nurse with a law license in 1977 after she graduated from Temple University Law School.

The Departmental Disciplinary Committee found Eloise guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Made materially false statement in application for bar admission
  • Deliberately failed to disclose material fact to State Bar
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Engaged in conduct involving dishonesty, fraud, deceit, or misrepresentation
  • Failed to disclose guilty plea of disorderly conduct re: her harassment and threatening messages on former boyfriend/employer’s answering machine

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Departmental Disciplinary Committee punished Eloise by gifting her with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (ca. February 2017), Eloise practices at 208 West 119th Street in New York, New York.
