Judge Harold Cook, III of New Jersey; deadbeat, crook, liar, Dumbo

Unfortunately, Judge Harold “The Crook” Cook, III has been sitting as a Municipal Court Judge in Passaic County for many, many years.

In May 2010, the New Jersey Supreme Court Advisory Committee on Judicial Conduct filed a plethora of misconduct charges against Harry, some of which is set forth below.

Harry the Deadbeat

In addition to being a so-called judge, Harry also operated a loan company that went bust in 2006, and is now the defendant, either personally or in his capacity as a member of more than 40 limited liability companies, in 43 lawsuits in Superior Court in New Jersey. (New Jersey Record)

As a result of the 43 lawsuits, Harry’s undeserved wages as a municipal judge have been garnished to help pay the $2.7 million in judgments lodged against him.

Harry the Deadbeat Crook

Harry is in more trouble as a result of his moronic attempt to save his Beach Haven shore house from falling into the hands of his creditors. According to the Judicial Commission complaint, Harry “deliberately and fraudulently” attempted to transfer the deed, first to his wife and then to his daughter, to escape his army of creditors (aka, victims).

Cook’s attempt to save his Beach Haven shore house from falling into the hands of creditors got him in more trouble, the complaint said. Cook “deliberately and fraudulently” attempted to transfer the deed, first to his wife and then to his daughter, to escape creditors. The Superior Courts in Bergen County and Ocean County later vacated these transactions, the complaint said.

Harry was obligated under the Code of Judicial Conduct to disclose to the Chief Justice and state Administrative Office of the Courts that he was the subject of at least 43 lawsuits, a duty that he failed to perform.

Harry was also charged with abuse of the judicial process “by failing to respond to information subpoenas, ignoring discovery requests, failing to appear for scheduled depositions and make false promises [liar] to produce documents” in regards to the Judicial Commission.

Unfortunately, as we speak (ca. May 2011), Harry the Loser remains on the bench in Passaic. Only time will tell if the apologists and enablers for Judicial Misfits sitting on the New Jersey Surpeme Court will take any affirmative steps to remove Harry the Loser from the bench.
