Attorney Eric Hoort of Camano Island, WA; idiot, slacker

The state of Washington presented Eric Cameron Hoort with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Lansing, Michigan.

The Washington State Bar found Eric guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Failed to act consistent with interests of his client

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Washington Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
