Attorney Michael Hall of Peoria, IL; serial thief

The state of Illinois presented Michael A. Hall with a law license in 1992 after he graduated from Washburn University Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Mike misappropriated (stole) over $35,000 that he had agreed to hold for a relative and hid that conduct from his law firm. He also converted $2,500 from his law firm and $57,500 from his client trust account.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary 3-year suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Illinois are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Mike was never criminally charged with grand theft.

As we speak (March 2017), Mike practices with Bard Optical at 8309 North Knoxville Avenue in Peoria, Illinois.
