The state of Illinois presented Allan R. Popper with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from St. Louis University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Allan guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Allan mishandled $27,734 in client funds relating to an insurance collection matter.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Allan by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 6-month suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Allan.
