Attorney Edwin Plaza of Woodstock, IL; cheating loser

The state of Illinois presented Edwin Michael Plaza with a law license in 1978 after he graduated from

the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Eddy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Commingled client funds with personal funds
• Engaged in conduct tending to defeat the administration of justice or to bring the courts or legal profession into disrepute
• Converted client funds to personal use (cheater)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Eddy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Eddy.
