Attorney David Dunagin Fort Smith, AR; slacker, repeat offender

The state of Arkansas presented David Lee Dunagin with a law license in 1984 after he graduated from the University of Arkansas Law School.

The Committee on Professional Conduct found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

Dave’s 1^st bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Failed to file a brief or respond to the State’s Motion to Dismiss and therefore denied him the right to a timely
• appeal to the lower court’s decision
• Failed to consult with client as to the means to achieve client objectives
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Knowingly disobeyed obligation owed under rules of a tribunal
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary caution.

Dave’s 2^nd bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree

• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Knowingly disobeyed an obligation under the rules of a tribunal
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Failed to abide by client decisions re: representation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Committee on Professional Conduct punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
