Attorney Russell Brown of Columbia, SC; lying loser

The State of South Carolina presented Russell O. Brown with a law license in 2005 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Russ guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Russ!)
• Failed to provide competent representation (idiot)
• Failed to expedite client litigation
• Knowingly made a false a false statement of material fact or law to a third person or failed to disclose a material fact to a third person when disclosure is necessary to avoid assisting a criminal or fraudulent act by a client
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Russ by gifting him with a complimentary admonishment.

As we speak (ca. February 2017) Russ practices with Russell O. Brown Attorney at Law LLC at The Fosmire Law Firm LLC in Columbia, South Carolina.
