Attorney Jermaine Wyrick of Southfield, MI; ethical gremlin

The state of Michigan provided Jermaine A. Wyrick with a law license in 1997 after he graduated from Wayne State University Law School.

The Tri-County Hearing Panel #107 found Jermaine guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Commingled client funds with personal funds
  • Held funds other than client or third person funds in an IOLTA account
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
  • Deposited own funds (earned fees) into an IOLTA account exceeding amount reasonably necessary to pay financial institution service charges or fees
  • Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting Disciplinary Board punished Jermaine by gifting him with a complimentary 179-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Jermaine practices with the Law Offices of Jermaine Wyrick PLLC in Southfield, Michigan.
