Attorney Bryan Meccariello of Southington, CT; thief; ethical gremlin

While sitting as a Probate Judge in Southington, Connecticut, the Dishonorable Bryan Meccariello was charged with egregious misconduct by the Council on Probate Judicial Conduct that ultimately led to him withdrawing from the 2010 election.

While handling the estate of Josephine Smoron, Judge Meccariello determined that he would totally ignore her will that left her estate worth over $1 million to her longtime caretaker Sam Manzo.

This de facto thief decided that he would knowingly violate the law in order to effectuate the theft of the estate left to Sam Manzo. In doing so, Judge Meccariello took it upon himself to approve an illegal scheme to change Ms. Smoron’s will and remove Sam Manzo as the beneficiary.

After unlawfully removing Mr. Manzo as the beneficiary, Meccariello gave Ms. Smoron’s dairy farm in Southington to three Catholic churches that wanted to sell the property to a sports complex developer for $1.5 million.

Could it be possible that as a practicing Catholic that, Judge Meccariello opted to gift these 3 Catholic churches with Ms. Smoron’s estate in lieu of the penance previously meted out to him by Father Melo, pastor of St. Thomas Church at 99 Bristol Street in Southington.

Meccariello’s So-called Punishment

As punishment for his despicable misconduct, the wimps, enablers and apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Council on Probate Judicial Conduct gifted Meccariello with a complimentary censure.

Clearly, this certified loser deserved to be removed from the bench. Being the acknowledged coward he is, Meccariello wasn’t about to face the voters in November 2010 because he knew that they would permanently bench him, so he did what any coward would do, he withdrew from the election.

As we speak (ca. May 2011) this certified loser continues to practice law at Meccariello & Bornstein located at 142 North Main Street in Southington, CT.
