Attorney Claud McIver III of Atlanta, GA; charged with killing wife

The state of Georgia presented Claude L. McIver III with a law license in 1973 after he graduated from the University of Texas Law School.

In late December 2016, Claud was charged in the shooting death of his wife. Shortly after his arrest, he posted $200,000 bail and left the jail after being fitted with an ankle monitor. He was also ordered to surrender his passport.

Claud is being charged with involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct. Local law enforcement said Claud was riding in a rear seat of an SUV late Sept. 25 when a gun he was holding fired and the bullet hit his wife, 63-year-old Diane MvIver.

Claud laughingly claimed the shooting and killing of his wife was an accident. Cleary, Claud missed his calling as a Standup Comedian,

All that remains now is to see how long it takes before Claud cops a plea.

As we speak (ca. January 2017), Chris practices with Fisher & Phillips LLP at 1075 Peachtree Street NE in Atlanta, Georgia.
