Attorney Philip Lebenbaum of Portland, OR; ethical gremlin

The state of Oregon provided Philip Lebenbaum with a law license in 1986 after he graduated from Lewis & Clark University Law School.

The Oregon State Bar Court found Phil guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to file appellate brief on client’s behalf in Workers’ Compensation matter
  • Failed to provide client with copies of motions filed with appellate court
  • Neglected legal matter entrusted to him
  • Failed to adequately communicate with client
  • Failed to timely notify client appellate court dismissed his case since Phil had not taking any action to obtain relief in the matter

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Phil’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He was previously disciplined for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the State Bar Court punished Phil by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (December 2016), Phil practices with Hollander Lebenbaum & Gannicott at 1500 SW First Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
