Judge Larry Himelein of New York; greedy loser, lifetime porker, Dufus  
Unfortunately for the citizens of Cattaraugus County (50 miles south of Buffalo), Larry Himelein has been sitting as a County, Family, and Surrogate Court judge since 1993 and was the county DA from 1982 through 1992. Put simply, Himelein has had his significant snout firmly implanted in the public trough for the last twenty-nine (29) years.
Judge Himelein wasn’t satisfied with the undeserved $130,000 he was being paid for his worthless services. Beginning in 2007, Himelein began to engage in a variety of highly unethical conduct that was solely aimed at trying to extort a pay increase from the state legislature.
Himelien’s main extortionist weapon was to recuse (remove) himself from any case wherein a lawyer associated with a state legislature was involved. He went about sending out numerous emails to fellow judges demanding that they also refuse to hear such cases. Himelien’s aim was to cause financial hardships on these law firms in order to force them to increase his annual salary.
 
In early 2009, the New York Judicial Commission filed an ethics complaint against Judge Himelein. The complaint said Himelein them “wusses, non-self-respecting, gutless and wimps.” As to New York City judges, he denigrated them by calling them “lackies” and “toadies for the politicians” and told them in an email to “grow some stones.”
Himelein referred to then Assembly Speaker Sheldon Silver as a “slug” and told his judicial colleagues that if Silver’s law firm could not get its cases heard because of mass recusals, that would “spur some action” on the pay raise issue, and that once a pay raise was enacted, the need for such disqualifications would end. He also said, “Recusal “is the only weapon we have that has any likelihood of making some of those clowns suffer for their actions.”
Apparently, Himelein the Loser actually believes his useless services are worth about $170,000 a year. Obviously, Himelein missed his calling as a standup comedian!
As a result of his illegal extortionist conduct, the enablers on the Judicial Commission punished Judge Himelein was gifting him with a complimentary censure. As we speak (ca. May 2011) this loser continues to sit on the bench.
