Attorney David Peters of Portland, OR; convicted druggie

The state of Oregon provided David B. Peters with a law license in 1981 after he graduated from the University of Oregon Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Purchases, possessed and used illegal drugs; cocaine and marijuana
  • Lied to police he was not aware suspect was involved in illegal drug activity
  • Pled guilty to attempted possession of cocaine
  • Misconduct involved multiple offenses
  • Engaged in a pattern of misconduct

The Oregon State Bar found Dave guilty of the following misconduct all of which took place while he was employed as a Multnomah County District Attorney’s Office.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Dave by gifting him with a complimentary 120-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. December 2016) Dave practices at 522 SW 5th Avenue in Portland, Oregon.
