Attorney Patrick Mackin of Portland; cheater, repeat offender

The state of Oregon provided Patrick K. Mackin with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Lewis and Clark Law School.

The Oregon State Bar found Patty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to notify insurance attorney he had been discharged by client
  • Failed to advise insurance attorney he had no authority to negotiate on former client’s behalf
  • Charged an excessive fee (cheater)
  • Failed to withdraw after client termination

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Patty’s First Bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary admonition for engaging in a variety of misconduct

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Oregon Supreme Court punished Patty by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. December 2016) Patty practices at 737 SE Sandy Blvd in Portland, Oregon.
