Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner is Arizona Rep. Carl Seel

Congratulations to….

Arizona State Rep. Carl Seel
Today’s “Bigot” Award Winner

Arizona Rep. Carl Seel was the leader in the state assembly in the passage of what can most charitably be called a “birther bill.”

Rep. Seel’s legislation would require a presidential candidate to prove he/she was a “natural born” citizen. A candidate could prove “natural born citizenship” by providing a copy of his/her birth certificate. If a birth certificate could not be produced, a candidate would have to produce copies of (a) baptismal or circumcision (women excluded?) records, (b) hospital birth files, postpartum medical records/documents.

Rep. Seel had the chutzpah to deny that his legislation was specifically targeted at president Obama. Seel was quoted as saying, “It’s not about that [Obama]. It’s about future elections and maintaining the integrity of the Constitution.” Rep. Seel’s hyperbolic (BS) denial doesn’t pass the involuntary laugh test.

Obviously, this bigot missed his calling as a standup comedian.

Maybe Rep. Seel and his fellow bigots should think about passing legislation requiring that all legislative and/or statewide candidates provide and/or do the following:
  1. Undergo a “Moron” test conducted by the AMA (American Moron Assn)
  2. Submit an affidavit proving candidate has not had a lobotomy
  3. Affirmatively answering under oath “are you now or have you ever been a member of the Democratic Party?”
  4. Affidavit affirming that candidate has never been a member of the NAACP
  5. Attesting that candidate never made contribution to United Negro College Fund
If in fact Rep. Seel and those of his ilk (FYI: Rep. Seel – Ilk is not defined as a male Elk) were truly concerned that someone could be elected president that was not a “natural born citizen,” then why didn’t they demand this type of legislation well before Obama was elected?

Congrats Carl; keep up the good work! We should let everyone know of your amazing record as a practicing bigot; you are far too humble.
