Attorney Barry Piels of Westport, CT; ethical dwarf

The state of Connecticut provided Barry Y. Piels with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from the Brooklyn Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Barry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Caused overdraft in trust account (rubber check)
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Barry!)

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Barry by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Connecticut are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Barry was never criminally charged with writing bad checks.

As we speak (ca. December 2016) Barry practices at 44 Whitney Glen in Westport, Connecticut.
