Magistrate Clara Byrd of Lebanon, TN; arrogant loser

The state of Tennessee presented Clara Willis Byrd with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from the Nashville School of Law.

The Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct found Clara guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter involving a child custody case, Clara filed to follow a Court of Appeals ruling to restore custody to a mother, requiring the woman to pay additional attorney's fees to go back to the court to implement the order. (Up yours, Clara said to the Appeals Court)

Early in the custody case, Clara granted custody to the child’s father, despite findings of the Department of Children’s Service of abuse involving a police investigation.

As a direct consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Tennessee Board of Judicial Conduct punished Clara by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2016) Clara continues to sit as a Circuit Court judge in Lebanon, Tennessee.
