The Disciplinary Commission found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.
In one matter, Jimmy represented both the buyer and the seller in a real estate transaction and by failing to disclose to the buyers that his law firm had previously represented the sellers in a real estate transaction, Jimmy disregarded the interests of both the buyer and the seller in that he knew his independent judgment would be or was likely to be adversely affected by should have known that your independent professional judgment would be or was likely to be adversely affected by representing both the buyer and the seller.
As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.
