Attorney John Eisel of Chicago; ethical misfit

The state of Illinois presented John Leslie Eisel with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of Illinois Law School.

The Disciplinary Commission found Johnny guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in a conflict of interest
• Failed to advise client to seek independent legal advice

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Johnny by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (November 2016), Johnny practices with Locke Lord LLP at 111 South Wacker Drive in Chicago, Illinois.
