In the past, attorney Donald A. Behle sat as a Logan County Associate Judge in Springfield, Illinois.
During his useless term on the bench, Judge Behle was charged with misconduct by the Illinois Judicial Commission.
Donnie Baby found nothing wrong with presiding over a divorce and custody case despite the fact he was dating the woman involved in the matter. To assure that this woman was fully satisfied with his performance, Donnie ordered her ex-husband’s employer to withhold child support payments from his paycheck. It wasn’t until about two years later that Ol’ Donnie finally recused himself from the case. What a guy!
Judge Behle also had inappropriate personal contact with another woman who testified in his court in her sister’s child custody case. Donnie didn’t recuse himself from this case until nearly two months after he “awarded temporary custody of the children” to the woman’s sister. Is that like cool or what?
Due to media reports of Donnie’s aberrant behavior and knowing he would likely be removed from the bench, he did what any Judicial Wimp would do, he resigned.
As we speak (ca. March 2011) this certified loser continues to practice law at 121 N. Main Street in Bloomington, Illinois. What a joke!
