Attorney Brian Willie of Costa Mesa, CA; lying loser

The state of California provided Brian Todd Willie with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from Chapman University Law School.

The California State Bar Court found Brian guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Brian found it acceptable to file a false report to the California State Bar that he had completed his MCLE (Mandatory Continuing Legal Education) requirements during the mandated compliance period when in fact he had not done so.

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the supporters for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Bar Court punished Brian by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license. 

Because Attorney Misfits in California are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Brian wasn’t criminally charged with perjury.
