Attorney Lewie Harrell III of Chapin, SC; ethical misfit

The State of South Carolina presented Lewie K. Harrell III with a law license in 1993 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Lewie guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to properly supervise office staff
• Engaged in conduct involving fraud, deceit, dishonesty or misrepresentation
• Assisted non-lawyer in the illegal practice of law

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the Cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Lewie by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. November 2016), Lewie practices with Harrell & Martin PA in Chapin, South Carolina.
