Attorney Geraldine Roberts of Clarksburg, WV; slacker

The state of West Virginia presented Geraldine Roberts with a law license in 1977 after she graduated from West Virginia University Law School.

The Lawyer Disciplinary Board found Gerry guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Engaged in multiple acts of misconduct
• Failed to adequately communicate with client
• Engaged in a pattern of misconduct
• Breached various duties owed to client
• Conduct had potential to cause serious, irreparable harm to client

As a consequence of her misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the West Virginia Supreme Court punished Gerry by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
