Attorney Eric Lang of Atlanta; scammer

The state of Georgia presented Eric Charles Lang with a law license in 1990 after he graduated from the University of Florida Law School.

The Georgia State Bar found Eric guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Eric was hired to represent a client in a dispute with the client’s business partner in a landscaping business, he sent a letter to customers of the business, advising them to send any money owed to the business to him, to be deposited with the court pending a ruling regarding payment to creditors.

There was no case pending when Eric mailed the letter. Several weeks later, Maddux filed a lawsuit against the landscaping partner. While the case was pending, opposing counsel discovered that Eric had received funds from landscaping customers in response to his letter and had not deposited them with the court. Although the court ordered Eric to explain the disposition of those funds, he failed to adequately account for them and failed to pay the funds collected to the court as he represented he

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Eric’s First bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received two complimentary suspensions of his law license for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Georgia Supreme Court punished Eric by gifting her with a complimentary 9-month suspension of his law license.
