The state of Colorado provided Gary P. Pareja with a law license in 1980 after he graduated from Golden Gate University Law School.

The Colorado State Bar found Gary guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to pay mandatory attorney registration fee
• Engaged in the illegal practice of law while license suspended
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in a knowing violation of a rule of a tribunal

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Colorado Supreme Court punished Gary by gifting him with a complimentary censure.
