Today’s “Certified Buffoon” Award Winner
Earlier today (ca. Feb 23, 2011) Lindsay Lohan (aka, chief security officer for Tiffany’s) was offered a plea deal for absconding with a necklace from a Venice, California jewelry store without paying for it.
Hey Boyz and Girls, is this really a big deal? She’s a star; therefore she’s entitled to a few gratuities without paying for them, right?
Now, I must admit that I didn’t personally witness Lindsay’s alleged shoplifting of a necklace. Assuming arguendo (for the sake of argument) that Lindsay did in fact steal the necklace, one would like to think that the jewelry store has been sufficiently compensated by the vast publicity it has received. Put simply, the owner of the store is a certified ingrate, right? I mean, if the alleged thief was Samantha Wilkowski, it wouldn’t have inured to the financial benefit of the jeweler, right?
The LA Times reported that Lindsay refused the plea deal offered by the DA. I’m personally at a loss to understand why she so acted!
Maybe it was due to the fact that the DA mandated that she attend the O.J. Simpson Shoplifter’s Awareness Program in Boca Raton, Florida.
Congrats Lindsay; keep up the good work! We should let your demented fans know of your amazing record; you are far too humble.
