Attorney Joe Lampley of Huntsville, AL; ethical elf, repeat offender

The state of Alabama presented Joe N. Lampley with law license in 1982 after he graduated from Southern University Law School.

The Alabama State Bar Association Joey guilty of the following misconduct.

• Stated or implied ability to improperly influence government agency or official
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice
• Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice
• Offered to pay $10,000 to prosecutor in exchange for favorable settlement of client’s case

As one would suspect, this wasn’t Joey’s first bite at the Attorney Misfit Apple Tree. He previously received a complimentary reprimand for engaging in a variety of misconduct.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Judicial Misfits sitting on the Alabama Supreme Court punished Joey by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Joey practices at 1330 Washington Street NW in Huntsville, Alabama.
