Attorney Hale Sargent of Westport, CT; ethical dwarf

The state of Connecticut provided Hale Cunningham Sargent with a law license in 1979 after he graduated from the University of Connecticut Law School.

The Statewide Grievance Committee found Hale guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed explain a matter to the extent reasonably necessary to permit the client to make informed decisions regarding the representation
• Failed to adequately explain terms of loan to his client

As a consequence of his misconduct, the patron saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Statewide Grievance Committee punished Hale by gifting him with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. September 2016) Hale practices with Sargent, Sargent & Jacobs LLC at 830 Post Road East in Westport, Connecticut.
