Attorney Scott Sigman of Philadelphia; lying loser

The state of Pennsylvania presented Scott Philip Sigman with a law license in 2001 after he graduated from Temple University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel (ODC) found Scotty guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Mishandled client funds
  • Improperly maintained client funds
  • Made false statements in an affidavit and deposition (perjury)
  • Allowed lawyer outside of his firm to access the firm’s Westlaw account
  • Failed to advise firm that client matter originated with another attorney

As a consequence of his misconduct, the apologists for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court punished Scotty by gifting hi, with a complimentary 30-month suspension of his law license.

Because Attorney Misfits in Pennsylvania are held to a much lower standard of conduct then everyone else, Scotty was never criminally charged with perjury.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Scotty practices at 2101 Pine Street in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
