Attorney Robert Lusk of Anderson, SC; ethical gremlin

The State of South Carolina presented Robert Patrick Lusk with a law license in 1974 after he graduated from the University of South Carolina Law School.

Disciplinary Counsel of the South Carolina Supreme Court found Bobby guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Failed to disclose facts to probate court
  • Failed to respond to communications from probate court
  • Failed to reveal assets to probate court
  • Assisted client to engage in criminal or fraudulent conduct
  • Failed to consult with clients re: limitations rules placed on lawyers
  • Failed to require clients to rectify a fraud or reveal the fraud
  • Failed to receive consent about conflicts of interest
  • Represented client when Bobby’s interest conflicted with client’s

As a consequence of his misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the South Carolina Supreme punished Bobby by gifting him with a complimentary 5-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2016) Bobby practices with Kenyon Lusk & Anderson in Anderson, South Carolina.
