Attorney Anne Weintraub of Sarasota, FL; ethical misfit

The state of Florida provided Anne Leah Weintraub with a law license in 2004 after she graduated from Stetson University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Anne guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to read loan documents in personal real estate transactions that contained inaccurate information before signing them
• Anne was account holder of a firm trust account that generated two insufficient funds notices in transactions handled by another attorney in the firm

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Anne by gifting her with a complimentary 6-month suspension of her law license.

As we speak (ca. September 2016), Anne practices with Anne Weintraub PA at 15 Paradise Plaza in Sarasota, Florida.
