Attorney Sarah Cox of Fort Myers, FL; ethical dwarf

The state of Florida provided Sarah E. Cox with a law license in 2008 after she graduated from Whittier University Law School.

The Florida State Bar found Sarah guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Sarah Cox represented a client on a variety of legal matters and received a total of $90,000. The client claims the fees are excessive, and the two are involved in civil litigation. Sarah admitted that she should have more frequently and more thoroughly communicated in writing the precise amount and nature of every charge in order to avoid any misunderstanding.

As a consequence of her misconduct, the Patron Saints for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Florida Supreme punished Sarah by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.
