Attorney Carole Root of Malden, MA; ethical dwarf

The state of Massachusetts presented Carole Ann Zuma Root with a law license in 1982 after she graduated from Northeastern University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Carole guilty of the following misconduct.

• Failed to explain to client she wouldn’t pursue appeal
• Failed to advise client to seek alternative representation
• Failed to seek court permission to withdraw regarding client appellate matter
• Failed to respond to client communications
• Failed to timely return client file after being terminated
• Failed to cooperate with ethics investigators (Up yours, said Carole!)

As a consequence of her misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers punished Carole by gifting her with a complimentary reprimand.

As we speak (ca. August 2016) Carole practices in Malden, Massachusetts.
