Attorney Douglas Rowe of Marlborough, MA; thieving slacker

The state of Massachusetts presented Douglas J. Rowe with a law license in 1968 after she graduated from Boston University Law School.

The Board of Bar Overseers found Doug guilty of the following misconduct.

• Neglected client’s will matter
• Failed to act with due diligence (slacker)
• Converted (stole) $73,000 of client funds
• Converted (stole) $41,000 from three clients he represented
• Failed to cooperate ethics investigators (Screw you, said Doug!)
• Abandoned a client matter

As a direct consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Board of Overseers accepted Doug’s resignation while disciplinary proceedings were taking place.

Unbelievably, several years later his law license was reinstated.

As we speak (ca. July 2018) Doug practices with the Rowe Law Offices at 21 Cotting Avenue in Marlborough, Massachusetts.
