Attorney James Hajek of St. Louis, MO; ethical gremlin

The state of Missouri presented James Alan Hajek with a law license in 2000 after he graduated from St. Lois University Law School.

The Office of Disciplinary Counsel found Jimmy guilty of the following misconduct.

• Improperly withdrew client funds prior to earning
• Failed to promptly notify client of receipt of client funds
• Failed to fully cooperate with ethics investigators

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on Disciplinary Counsel punished Jimmy by gifting him with a complimentary stayed 1-year suspension of his law license.

In truth, the comedians sitting on Disciplinary Counsel didn’t mete out any meaningful punishment to Jimmy.
