Attorney Sean Robbins of White Plains, NY; ethical gremlin

The state of New York presented Sean Robbins with a law license in 2008 after she graduated from the University of Massachusetts Law School.

The Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel found Sean guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Sean engaged in an egregious conflict of interest when he simultaneously represented a mortgage broker/seller and various mortgage lenders in transactions to convey separate units in a condominium complex to various purchasers. Sean handled numerous closings of this kind, wherein he knew that mortgage settlement statements were inaccurate but allowed the closing, funding, recording and disbursement of loans in violation of the requirements of various lenders and in contravention of their interests.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Appellate Division Disciplinary Panel punished Sean by gifting him with a complimentary 1-year suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2016), Sean practices at 27 Barker Avenue in White Plains, New York.
