Attorney John Nonnenmacher of Brooklyn, NY; serial liar

The state of New York presented John Joseph Nonnenmacher with a law license in 1989 after he graduated from the Brooklyn Law School.

In one matter, Johnny found it acceptable to intentionally lie to a federal judge Allyne Ross an hour before opening statements in a jury trial that his mother had just died. Based on said lie, Johnny asked the Judge and received a delay in the commencement of the trial.

The truth of the matter is that Johnny’s mother was alive and doing quite well when he lied and when judge Ross discovered the truth she scheduled a hearing to sanction him for his falsehood.

As a Congenital Liar, Johnny asked Judge Ross to postpone the sanction hearing by telling her he wasn’t able to appear because he had been admitted to a New Jersey hospital.

Rightfully suspicious of Johnny the Liar, Judge Ross called the Morristown Medical Center to see if Johnny’s story was true. A hospital representative advised Judge Ross that Johnny wasn’t at the hospital. In Judge Ross’s sanction order she said:

• “A representative of Morristown Medical Center stated that no one with the last name Nonnenmacher is a patient at the facility.”

Subsequently, Judge Ross sanctioned Johnny for his outrageous lies.
