Today’s Dumbo Award Winner is Texas State Rep. Ken Legler

The Watchdawg is proud to announce that Texas State Rep. Ken Legler of Houston is today’s Screwball Award Winner.

Rep. Legler earned this prestigious award by introducing legislation in the Texas House that would prohibit out-of-state residents such as this Ol’ Dawg from filing any complaints with the Texas Ethics Commission.

Seems that Kenny is incapable of understanding the rights enshrined in the 1st and 14th Amendments.

Apparently, if it was up to Kenny Baby, out-of-state watchdogs such as me would be subjected to “disembowelment in the public square” for exposing public corruption in the Lone Star State.

And lastly, when the State of Texas is facing a $25 billion budget deficit, you’d like to think that this enormous problem would garner more attention from Kenny’s attempt to trample on the 1st Amendment.

Appears as though Kenny missed his calling as a standup comedian!

Congrats Kenny; keep up the good work! We should let your constituents all know of your amazing record; you are far too modest.

The Dawg~
