Attorney Santo Volpe of Chicago; convicted criminal

The state of Illinois presented Santo John Volpe with a law license in 1966 after he graduated from DePaul University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Santo guilty of the following misconduct.

In one matter, Santo pled guilty to one count of failing to maintain records with sufficient and accurate detail to provide the necessary information and data from which such documents could be verified, explained, clarified or checked for accuracy and completeness as required under the Employee Retirement Income Security Act (“ERISA”).

Said criminal conduct was in violation of Title 29, United States Code Sections 1027 and 1131.

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Santo by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (August 2016), Santo practices with Santo J. Volpe & Associates at 1800 West Berenice Avenue in Chicago, Illinois.

Caution: Santo is not covered by legal malpractice insurance
