Attorney Michael Gill of Chicago; ethical gremlin

The state of Illinois presented Michael Jon Gill with a law license in 1977 after he graduated from Northwestern University Law School.

The Illinois Registration and Disciplinary Commission found Mike guilty of the following misconduct.

• Engaged in conduct tending to defeat the administration of justice
• Pursued multiple proceedings where no basis for doing so was not frivolous (BS)
• Engaged in conduct prejudicial to the administration of justice

As a consequence of his misconduct, the enablers for Attorney Misfits sitting on the Illinois Supreme Court punished Mike by gifting him with a complimentary censure.

As we speak (August 2016), Mike practices with Mayer Brown LLP at 71 South Wacker Drive in Chicago, Illinois.
