Attorney J. Craig Mehrens of Phoenix; drunken convict, bully

The state of Arizona presented J. Craig Mehrens with a law license in 1999 after he graduated from Arizona State University Law School.

The Arizona State Bar found Craig guilty of the following misconduct.

  • Confronted female DA and accused her of unprofessional conduct
  • Used negative language when screaming at female DA
  • Convicted of driving under the influence, second offense
  • Convicted of leaving the scene of an accident
  • Engaged in conduct adversely reflecting on fitness to practice law

As a consequence of his misconduct, the cheerleaders of Attorney Misfits sitting on the Arizona Supreme Court punished Craig by gifting him with a complimentary 30-day suspension of his law license.

As we speak (ca. August 2016), Craig practices at 645 North 4th Avenue in Phoenix, Arizona.
